How to study medical english?
たくさん聞かれるこの質問。”医療英語どうやって勉強した？”
とにかく根気強く知らない単語は調べ、たくさんいろんな方法で触れることだと私は思います。
医療英語を克服しない限り海外での医療職者としての道は開けませんし、地道な努力しか方法はないと思います。
アメリカで生活してても医療英語ってそもそも通常会話であまり耳にしません。（よっぽど医療業界の人に囲まれていない限り、、、、）
いくつか私が試したものがあるのでこの記事ではリストアップして、詳しい内容については個々に今後書きたいと思います。
１：教科書を読み、わからない単語を片っ端から調べる。
２：Youtube (registered nurse RN / osmosis / ted talk)
３：Podcast ( NRSNG / 2 docs Talk / ted talk )
４：Medical Drama ( good doctor / Grey's anatomy / House / ER)
５：インターンシップやボランティア
６：地域の病院やクリニックでのレクチャー
７：ウェブサイト(medscape / webmd / helthline / mayo clinic etc....)
*英単語は英英辞書を使うことをお勧めします。
I'm often asked this question.
"How did you study medical terms????"
I would say just read the textbook and use the dictionary whenever you come across the word you don't know. So simple but THIS IS HARD. It takes you a long time to memorize but just do it. That's the only way I think. However, I used a lot of materials to gain vocabulary. Such as TV dramas, podcasts, youtube, internship, volunteer work, lectures at local hospital besides textbook, I'm going to write about the details on another article. I recommend using the English-English dictionary. It takes time but it will worth it.
